An American army officer, a girl named Webb was on a business trip abroad and it was there that she picked up a street dog. The puppy was helpless and was far thinner, compared to his peers.
The girl began to patronize the baby and gave him the simple nickname Puppy. She took care of the new pet as well as she could. She fed him properly, took him to the vet, played with him and tried to give him all the love and tenderness that she was capable of.
But it wasn’t all that rosy; soon the girl received an order that it was time for her to return to the United States. And the airline that carried out the flight did not allow pets to be taken on board. And the unfortunate Puppy had to survive the separation.
However, this story did not end so sadly. The organization for the protection of animals took control of the situation, because such cases occurred quite often. They promptly took care of all the paperwork and other formalities so that the dog could fly, but before that they arranged a temporary shelter for him.
The organization also took care of all financial matters so as not to separate Puppy and Sergeant Webb. And they succeeded. The dog took off on other airlines and was reunited with his owner. Thanks to the kind and caring people who were able to figure out this seemingly unsolvable problem.
