This story is about an Australian woman who became a mother at the age of 13. Emma didn’t even know she could be pregnant. She was in seventh grade and her growing belly was becoming increasingly visible. Emma grew up in a small town in Australia.
Their family was very strict. As a child, Emma attended a Catholic church. That all changed when Emma changed schools.
She began to live her adult life. She started dating a man and after two dates, she became pregnant. At first she didn’t realise what was happening to her, but she felt it was a pregnancy.
She didn’t even realise how serious it was.
Every day her belly grew bigger and bigger, and on 4 October 2003 she gave birth to a baby weighing 2.2 kg. Her daughter is now 16, and she is proud to be such a young mother.
Emma admitted that she would not want her daughter to follow in her footsteps.
