HOW A BOY’S CHILDHOOD DREAM WAS HELPED TO COME TRUE BY ADULTS

On a day off, Leon and his mother went to a supermarket in the suburbs of Liverpool. When they entered the children’s department, the 10-year-old boy immediately noticed the panda toy. He couldn’t take his eyes off it.

The boy asked his mother to buy a toy, which he named Pandey. But his mother said she couldn’t make it today because her paycheck isn’t due for another week. Leon had the plan to make sure that someone else didn’t buy the toy in a week. He put Pandey in a paper bag and wrote on the side, “My mom doesn’t have any money right now, but she will get her paycheck next week. Please don’t buy it or I will cry. Many thanks from his future owner.”

Soon the store employees noticed the teddy bear hidden in the bag and read the inscription. Everyone was touched by the note, and they decided to raise money and buy the panda for the boy. The photo of the bag was posted on the Facebook page to find the future owner.

A few days later, the boy’s mother noticed the message on Facebook. She took her son to the store. There the store employees were waiting for them, ready to give Leon a toy. Everyone was smiling. Walking out of the store with Pandey, the boy told his mom, “This is the happiest day of my life!”
