The couple, who met on the popular dating site Tinder, has their own story about how their fourth date went. Max and Alyssa explained in their TikTok video how their meeting on Tinder led to Max helping her during childbirth.
Alyssa tells how in just a few weeks her relationship with Max has taken a completely unexpected turn. On the third or fourth date, she reveals that she was supposed to meet Max at the airport, but her water broke.
After she called him and told him she couldn’t pick him up because she was going into labour, Max took a taxi to his house to unpack and then immediately rushed over to be by her side at the hospital.
In the TikTok video she says, «But what if we break up in a week?». We’ve only had a few dates. At this point, we didn’t know each other very well. His family didn’t know about me or anything like that. But in the end he came and became my biggest support. I was 19 years old and I was alone. Max stayed with me because the hospital staff thought he was the father of the baby, so he could stay in the maternity ward. And he didn’t mind when they called him Dad. He just agreed to it».
Max also said, “I was just hoping that they were both okay in the surgery and everything like that. I guess the big thing is, like, … was he going to come out like an old man, was he going to come out super cute? Did he come out like Megamind? I don’t know.”
Max also took a week off work to help Alyssa with the baby.
