A dying woman asks her husband for permission to fulfil her last wish – to sleep with her ex for the last time

Reddit users were left in disbelief upon reading a post shared by a user on the platform known as throwawayforeife. In the post, he detailed how his wife had received a devastating diagnosis, being given only a few months to live due to a terminal illness. Having made a vow to stand by her through thick and thin, he made the decision to do everything possible to make her remaining days comfortable and fulfill all of her desires. However, he was taken aback when he discovered that her final wish was to spend one last intimate night with her ex-partner. The request was truly shocking, leaving him utterly confused and questioning the legitimacy of his wife’s desire.

When he questioned her about her reasoning, she explained that her ex was the person with whom she had the highest level of physical compatibility and satisfaction. Additionally, she claimed that she also experienced emotional fulfillment with him.

Naturally, this revelation left the Reddit user devastated. He had no prior knowledge that after ten years of marriage, his wife held such strong feelings towards her ex.

However, faced with the knowledge of her impending death, he found himself caught in a dilemma. Should he acquiesce and allow her to fulfill this final wish with her ex-partner?

Confused and feeling ashamed, he sought the advice of online users. As anticipated, individuals struggled to decide on a definitive stance regarding this issue.

One user wrote that throwawayforeife should stick to his principles and resist manipulation.

Another person said he should file for divorce and then let her go to her ex. He shouldn’t take her back when she’s fragile and can’t take care of herself.

“I would probably not even be able to stay with that person if they had told me that was what they wanted to do,” another person wrote.

It really is a very tricky situation.
