Chickens are fascinating animals. Before the chicks hatch, the hens incubate the eggs to keep them warm at all times.
They do the same when the young hatch and are still weak, defenseless and not fully feathered.
When the farmer entered the chicken coop, he noticed that the hen was lying on something.
No big deal, he thought. But when he got closer, he couldn’t believe his eyes.
The hen did not incubate any eggs or chicks at all!
It turns out that the local cat gave birth to young puppies in the chicken coop.
The hen, probably driven by maternal instinct, decided to take care of the little ones and keep them warm.
Even an adult cat received hospitality and care!
