Prior to the Academy Awards, Legend posted a photo of himself and Esti, who is 13 months old, holding hands as they walked towards the camera. They were dressed in tops only, with Legend wearing half of a tuxedo and Esti in a lacy pink dress. Legend captioned the sweet moment with “Ready.”
While many of his followers commented on the adorable father-daughter moment, some were critical, pointing out that Legend wasn’t wearing pants. They expressed their disapproval, calling the photo distasteful and inappropriate.
