Brave schoolchildren saved everyone on the bus, whose driver fainted

On what seemed like a normal Monday morning, a bus full of beaming children was heading to school with Connor and Seamus Collins, driven by Arthur McDougal, 77, when they both heard him fall onto the floor of the bus. before it starts swinging all over the road. “I didn’t see him fall. I heard him fall to the ground, and then the bus started turning right into a ditch,” Connor recalled.

After Connor and his brother Seamus were alerted to the emergency, Connor knew he had to act. Otherwise, the bus full of students could have an accident. Connor knew that whatever happened, he had to stop the bus. “I got up, slammed on the brakes, and told my little brother to call 911.” After the bus driver passed out, Seamus realized he needed his classmates to class remain calm and sit in their seats.

He said: “I tried to calm everyone down, tell everyone everything will be fine, the police are on their way. I hugged one of the other students because he was crying, because he had never been in such a situation. Thanks to the courageous efforts of these two young people, they managed to save the lives of everyone on the bus. Without the quick thinking and actions of these two brothers, the bus could have veered off the road. The bus could have collided with another vehicle in oncoming traffic, or perhaps something worse could have happened.
