The world’s tallest woman has broken three more records

If someone were the tallest woman in the world, they would probably have the longest arms and fingers. That’s exactly what happened to Rumeisa Gelgi. At 1.80 meters and 0.7 centimeters, the 25-year-old is the tallest woman in the world and recently broke three more records. For most people with this height, height becomes a curse. However, for Gelga, height is a huge blessing despite the obvious challenges she has faced. This woman also holds the records for the longest arms, longest fingers, and longest back of any woman. Her right arm is 24.93 centimeters (9.8 inches) long, while the average woman’s arm is about 17 centimeters (6.7 inches). Like all the other record holders, Gelgi was born with a rare genetic condition in Turkey. Her weight was about 13 pounds and her height was 23.2 inches (59 centimeters). For those wondering, those are the dimensions of an average two-month-old infant.
Gelgi had to go through a number of hardships. In order to travel, she often had to lie down in the car instead of sitting up. But she believes that any weakness can be turned into a strength – if you put enough effort into it.
