A month is a long time for a two-and-a-half-year-old child to be away from seeing her father. It’s nearly a quarter of her life. Therefore, it’s understandable that Adalinn’s mother, Alison Durbin, wanted to arrange a special reunion for her daughter and her husband, retired pilot Ron Durbin.
When Ron’s long-awaited flight landed at Raarid City Regional Airport in South Dakota, Alison held up a sign for Adalynn that read, “𝑰’𝒎 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒎𝒚 𝑫𝑨𝑫.
