The girl went through a long process of treatment in the hospital and, returning home, she decided to adopt a pet from a shelter. She was in a period of beginning a new life and was thinking about whom she could shelter. So, she came to the shelter and turned to the staff with a request to show the cat that had stayed there the longest. And so she met Kali.
She had been a street cat in the past, completely deaf and toothless, and also quite old.
The cat seemed to feel that the girl had come for her. She began to meow loudly and her future owner smiled for the first time in a long time.
When Kali was at home, she did not sleep for a long time and fussed, in the morning she finally fell asleep right on the lap of the owner.
And from that time on, the cat slept only with the girl. She had a very affectionate disposition and simply adored hugs.
So, an old and big animal from the shelter is able to give endless happiness and smiles, and thanks to the girl too, for giving the purr a chance to find a warm home, love and care in her old age, and we hope that there will be many people who will follow her example.
