Friendship between animals of different species is always very touching. But this case is unique, as that the golden retriever and the deer were friends for 11 years.
Lorry once saw a wounded deer and took her in for a while, despite the fact that she did not know how to look after these animals at all.
Buttons soon became a member of the Lorry family. She especially made friends with her wonderful dog Jibro.
When it came time to release the deer into the wild, she, to Lorrie’s surprise, still came to visit them.
She couldn’t live without her family, who loved her and was so kind to her. One of the reasons for her daily visits was to see her best friend Jibro.
One day, when the deer needed help, she reappeared, showed her babies and seemed to ask to participate in their upbringing, since she alone could not cope.
She especially expected this help from her best friend, Jibro, who, without delay, shared motherly duties with her.
When the dog first saw the baby deer, he was extremely excited. He became their dad and adored newborn deer.
The retriever played with them, took care of them and was their protector. He was gentle, affectionate, licked them all the time.
So every day, Buttons would regularly show up at the front door, as if asking Jibro to come outside.
She would even knock on the door with when no one answered her. When the door was open, she would enter the house without waiting for an invitation.
Buttons is still sure that she is part of the family and regularly visits a friend.
