Singer Sarah James has a voice, a teenager who knows how to behave on stage, and individuality, and she is only thirteen years old.
The teen wowed America’s Got Talent with her incredible rendition of Billie Eilish’s hit song ‘Lovely’. I’m a huge Billie fan, but this kid sang this song better than the original. So many goosebumps. The voice is so poignant and beautiful.
Indeed. Sarah is a future star. Simon saw this clearly when he pressed the Golden Buzzer.
“We’ve heard a lot of singers over the years, but here – wow,” Simon said. “You’ve got a real star charm that’s unmistakable.”
Simon wasn’t kidding when he said she had star quality; “I was completely captivated by her performance. Sarah is incredibly talented; I enjoyed watching her and I can’t wait for her to grow up.”
Just watching her facial expressions was crazy. She was strong and agile and you could feel it. It gave me goosebumps. The whole audience rose to their feet.
“Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. We’ve heard a lot of singers over the years, but not like this!” – Simon said.
Simon went on to say that the performance was “a moment I will never forget. And I want that moment to be remembered forever.”
