I felt every word… A singer born blind touches the heart with his performance of “Angel”

Canada’s Got Talent presents us with another stellar performance from the singer. She overcame all obstacles and stands proudly on the CGT stage.

Simone has been blind in both eyes since birth. She says, “Blindness is something I’ve learned to live with, and I accept it.” She took a break to raise two children with her fiancé Rick.

Now that her children attend school, Simone wants to get back to doing what she loves. Her goal is to inspire her own children and show them what perseverance looks like. Simone says, “With this performance, I really want to make my kids proud of me!”

The judges ask her: “What kind of reaction are you hoping for tonight?” Simone answers: “A standing ovation!” The crowd applauds, and she begins to play the intro to the song.
Simone plays the piano, sings with feeling, wearing sunglasses in a seated position. She performs Sarah McLachlan’s song “Angel.” Her voice has a power and range that impressed the judges and the audience.
It was fitting that the audience and judges gave this inspiring performance a standing ovation. Simone says, “I loved it, thank you. This is a wonderful audition that will warm your heart!
