A schoolboy carried a wounded dog 5 km on his hands to a veterinary clinic to save it

A schoolboy named Vanya Majorov was walking through the railway tracks. He was returning from his friend’s house. This was not the first time Vanya had walked this road, but this time his attention was drawn to a cardboard box. Probably a lot of people would have walked by, but not this boy.

The dog lay in the box and did not move. Vanya thought it was not breathing. But then he looked more closely and realized that the animal had not died. What was the name of the dog, and how did it come to be in this situation – there was no time to think about it.

Vanya called the veterinary hospital. It turned out that this clinic is the only one in town. It took five kilometers to go to the clinic, but it did not frighten Ivan. He took the dog and carried it in his arms. Volunteers gave the dog the name Fenya.

Ivan told journalists the following:

“At first I thought it was dead. Then I looked at it – it was breathing. I carried the dog on my hands for five kilometers. Several times I stopped to rest because the Fenya is heavy”.

While Ivan was carrying the dog, it never came to its senses. The animal was in a coma. Upon arrival at the clinic, the dog was immediately placed in the intensive care unit. The boy even paid for the treatment of the dog. He wanted so badly for its life to be saved.

This dog’s zest for life is amazing!

The doctors said that the fact that Fenya survived the journey, being in such a serious condition, is a true miracle.

The dog had multiple head injuries, eye socket damage, and injured limbs. The specialists concluded that Fenya had been beaten. There is no other way to explain such injuries.

Specialists did their best to save the dog’s life. They put a plaster on the fractures and normalized the pressure. Two weeks later Fenya was eating and drinking on its own.

The dog currently lives with Vanya. The new owners treat the animal with love and care. However, the surgeon who treated the dog says that the dog’s reflexes may never be the same. The reason is neurological disorders.

Now the dog has got used to Ivan. It reacts to affection and behaves in such a way that one can understand that the dog is comfortable and calm. Also, Fenya made friends with a pygmy pinscher who lives in the house. Ivan rescued it too. The puppy was abandoned in a deserted place, but Vanya arrived on time, as always.

Fortunately, Fenya’s condition is getting better every day. I want to believe that the doggy will be fine. In the house of this family, there is an atmosphere of love and comfort. Therefore, we are convinced that this doggie is fine there.
