A RING BOUGHT AT A FLEA MARKET TURNED OUT TO BE A TREASURE

In 1980, a woman bought a ring at a flea market near London, paying about $100 for it.

The woman had worn it for thirty years without taking it off. Suddenly she had the idea of taking the ring to a jeweler to find out when it was made and if it was valuable.

Jeweler Jessica Wyndham told the woman it was a nineteenth-century ring with a 26-carat diamond.

According to the jeweler, this amazing piece is worth about $1 million. The owner of the ring says that when she bought it 30 years ago, it was dirty and dull, but she liked it a lot nonetheless.

The jeweler reported that the woman decided to sell the antique ring at auction.
