Ridge Quarles had been working at a Mexican fast-food restaurant in Kentucky for five years. The establishment always had a high volume of customers, making the work intense. However, despite being busy, Ridge Quarles took the time to attend to a customer who needed assistance.

Several times a year a disabled woman came to the restaurant. Her abilities were very limited. To get in, she had to wait for someone to open the door for her.

On that day, a woman in a wheelchair arrived at the restaurant and, as usual, waited by the door. Ridge saw this, helped her, and brought her food. He asked the customer, “Is there anything else you need?” She asked if he could help her eat. “I felt like I had to do it. No one else would have fed her except for me,” Ridge explained.

His colleague David Johnson witnessed this kind act. He captured Ridge feeding the woman on video. “There are still good people in the world,” he said.
