What a surprise the kid got from the police

Little Bailey Pultz took care of the pepper sprouts growing in the pot. Every morning he ran outside to see how the peppers had grown overnight. One day Bailey discovered that the pot had disappeared. The parents were surprised by the reaction of their four-year-old son.

“Don’t worry mum and dad, the police will catch whoever took the pot and get my peppers back,” the boy told his parents the evening before going to bed.

Thanks to their son’s words, the parents had a plan. The next day they went to the North Bend Police Department and explained what had happened. Officer Chris Rule volunteered to help. A neighbour had bought a new plant when he heard it was missing. It was the one the policeman brought to the boy. The little boy was delighted to see that the pepper had grown a lot overnight.

Baby Bailey’s mother wrote on her Facebook page:

“They solved our issue in 5-10 minutes, sent a policeman who was so kind and brought my son a new sprout of peppers. My son was very happy and kept thanking the policeman for growing such a big pepper! (His missing peppers were tiny) Many thanks to the North Bend City Police Department for filling the little boy’s day with joy.”
