Tom, from California, takes dogs into temporary care at his home until they get stronger and a permanent family can be found for them. One day he fostered Mose, a deaf puppy.

“It was, a skinny, almost hairless, strange-looking tramp,” Tom recalls. “As soon as he got into the house, he went straight to sleep. He woke up a day and a half later.”

Tom looked after the puppy, and he gradually began to trust him. They walked around the neighborhood and every day they passed by the house of two-year-old little Lillian. The girl usually always hugged the dogs that Tom walked with.

But she liked Mose better than the other pets. “My daughter is very happy to help walk the puppy. They are both small and suited to each other in terms of age and pace of life,” says the girl’s mother.

When Tom had to go away for a few days, the girl’s parents took Mose to their home. The puppy and the girl were delighted. After Tom returned, it was decided to leave Mose with baby Lillian’s family. Watch a video of the girl’s friendship with the puppy.
