That’s why it’s so important to think about and explain your decision beforehand. Without the nurse’s help, the one-year-old boy would not have survived. The family of the one-year-old boy from Bodie Hall are very grateful to this sensitive and courageous woman who saved their son’s life.
The parents were disappointed, but fortunately, circumstances took an incredible turn. When her sister informed her of her little boy’s condition, Taylor Pikkarainen decided to give him a second chance. She immediately called the family and let them know she was ready to donate a kidney to Bodie.
Taylor underwent a medical examination and tests showed that he was a perfect match for the baby. However, due to a bottleneck, the operation was postponed and could only take place in July 2020.
