Emily said the adoption process in Uganda took three years and she and her family spent a total of four and a half years in the country. Others were moved by the story to the point of deciding to help, and it was all because of the story.
It took over 4.5 years to finalize the adoption. To accompany Adam on his trip to the United Kingdom, Emily applied for her visa and acquired her passport in November 2020.
Currently, Emily is arguing in a British court to legalize the adoption of children from other countries. Once again, the pandemic forced a postponement of the trial, but she is working to legitimize the situation.
The mother realized that her child’s eyes gave her meaning despite the many challenges and organizational problems she faced.
They are both in England at the moment. On the other hand, she risks being separated from Josh, who currently lives in Uganda, her boyfriend.
Despite this, Emily is confident that they will be together as a family again one day.
