I don’t do this often, but…
I came to the STORE to buy some things. I went in and grabbed a shopping cart and started pushing it and it was creaky and wobbly and just bent.
My first thought was to return it and get another one, but I figured I’d just use it and get what I needed.
I walked through the store with this mess of a cart going everywhere and making noise. I got what I needed and went to checkout.
I paid for my items and loaded them back onto this beat up cart. I then made my way outside and unloaded the things into my truck and placed the cart in the cart corral.
At this point, I realized that this cart had taught me a valuable lesson. And There you go.
The cart, although battered and far from functioning as a new cart would, had done exactly what it was made to do. The cart had a purpose, and it still served its purpose.
And he did it by taking the risk of using it for this purpose. Someone seeing his battle wounds and giving him one more chance to be who he was meant to be.
We are also the same. We all have a purpose, we have all been beaten down by years of abuse, but when someone takes a chance on us, we can always show that we have a purpose.
So I guess that stupid little wagon showed me that no matter what I’ve been through, I can still move forward and do what I was made to do.
God has a purpose for your life even in the midst of pain and problems – walk in it!
That’s all for today
Here is the little cart haha
