THE DOG CAME TO THE PHARMACY FOR HELP ON ITS OWN

A pharmacist called Banu Cengiz is very fond of dogs. That’s why she has put mats near her pharmacy and puts water and food for stray animals. One day Banu noticed a dog behaving strangely.

The stray dog did not touch the food, but stood in front of the pharmacy door and waited. The woman opened the door and let the dog in. It turned out that the dog had a cut paw and was bleeding.

Banu treated the wound and gave the dog antibiotics. The dog behaved like a perfect patient. “When I finished, it lay down as if thanking me. It seemed like she was saying: “I trust you,” recalls Banu.

By the end of the day, the dog felt better and returned to the street. “Unfortunately, I couldn’t take it home. I already have a dog. I’ve been helping stray animals for years. I feed them, treat them and find them owners,” the woman said.

Banu believes in helping those in need. “People should teach their children to love and respect animals and nature. Then we can all live together in a beautiful world,” she added.
