As time went on, the dog became thin, battered, and sad. Its hopes faded. People noticed that something was wrong with the dog and reported the dog to the local Everglades Angels rescue center. A staff member named Gloria immediately responded, knowing that the dog needed immediate help. She arrived and tried to lure it out with treats – but the faithful dog refused to leave its yard…
After a few days, the dog was lured away, and a member of staff took it to a shelter. There the dog was nicknamed Salvatore. At first, it was a bit shy, but then it started to socialize and become friends with everyone. The volunteers were amazed at how cute, kind, and outgoing this little one was – they couldn’t understand how anyone could abandon it to its fate It became a real favorite of the whole shelter.
But now Salvatore has a new life ahead of it. For now, Salvatore is living at the shelter, but they have already started looking for permanent homes for it – and all the staff is hoping that it will find a loving family for it very soon. Thank you for saving this beautiful boy!
