People rescued a dog that was standing on its hind legs in the water to avoid drowning

Rescuers in Mexico helped an unfortunate labrador who was trapped during the flooding in Tabasco. There were heavy rains at the time, causing many rivers to overflow their banks, resulting in landslides and flooding.

The dog tried to swim for a while, but its strength began to fade and at some point it managed to stand on its hind legs, leaning with its back against the ground floor windows. It was a sad and touching sight at the same time. This way it was able to wait for help from the people who had pulled it out of the water to their boat. The moment of rescue was captured on video. For the moment the dog is safe and its life is not in danger. The dog was warmed, dried and fed.

In the video attached below, you can see the dog reaching out its own paw to the man, realising that he wants to help it.

The video has already been viewed by more than 5 million people.

It is not yet known who the owner of the Labrador is. Many people have left their homes in a hurry to escape the disaster, and the dog may have gotten lost.

We hope that its owners will be found soon.
