Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon is getting divorced from her husband Jim Toth. She confessed to her followers in her blog that the decision was difficult for both of them. The star of “Legally Blonde” noted that they had spent many wonderful days together. And now the most important thing for them is the happiness of their shared son.
“Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we move on to the next chapter. These issues are never easy,” the actress wrote on social media.
Jim and Reese have been married for 12 years and have a 10-year-old son together. The celebrity has two other children – daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, from her first marriage to actor Ryan Phillips. They divorced in 2008, CNN notes.
Rumors of a rift in their family had been circulating for years. In 2020, the Western press wrote that Reese and Toth were living apart and hardly ever seeing each other. And when they are together, they are constantly fighting. What is really the reason for the family breakdown is anyone’s guess.
