Liam Neeson plays a memory-loss killer in his latest action movie – watch the trailer

The film “Memory” starring Liam Neeson and Guy Pierce is released on April 29.

Liam Neeson is back in action.

The 69-year-old actor starred in the first trailer of the film “Memory”, in which he plays a hit man who is tasked with crossing his personal moral code when he is tasked with killing a child. Seeking revenge against those who sent him on this mission, he also struggles with memory loss after a diagnosed illness, which complicates his process.

In the film “Memory”, Guy Pierce is also cast as an FBI agent who also tries to track down the criminals who hired Neeson’s hit man.

“I want justice,” Neeson says in the trailer. “We all have to die. What’s important is what you do before you go.”

The film is directed by Martin Campbell, who filmed last year the action film «Maggie Q», as well as the first James Bond film with Daniel Craig «Casino Royal» 2006.

Neeson starred in a series of thrilling action movies after the box-office success of the 2008 film «Taken» which spawned two sequels. His film «Blacklight» was released last month, and lead actor Aidan Quinn told PEOPLE why Neeson excelled in the genre.

«He’s so good at this now,» said Quinn. «He’s gotten this particular genre down where he can do it with such grace and yet be very charming and still have the gravitas that his characters have. It’s a pleasure to see him do this at the top of his game.»

Producer Tom Ortenberg had previously told Deadline about his recent collaboration with Neeson:

«I can’t say enough good things about Liam. Now into our seventh collaboration together since The Gray, he continues to deliver iconic, charismatic and high-intensity performances that keep theatrical audiences coming back time and time again. With a strong supporting cast including Guy Pearce and Monica Bellucci, and Martin Campbell directing, we look forward to taking moviegoers on another wild ride.»
