The man noticed a pitying muzzle in the bushes

As he passed the bushes, the man saw someone moving behind the leaves. From there, pitying eyes stared at him, as if asking for help.

The American walked past the bushes near the building and noticed something moving behind the leaves. He approached and saw a young dog, clearly scared and in need of help. The dog also had some kind of problem with its front paws and was limping…

The man contacted the local Stray Rescue of St. Louis shelter, and its volunteers came to pick up the dog. But it didn’t turn out to be that easy. The poor thing was afraid of people and wouldn’t let anyone near it. The volunteer tried to leave pieces of chicken to lure the dog into a humane trap. But when she returned to check the cage, the chicken was untouched. Even though the dog was hungry, fear won out.

Then the volunteer decided to try a different approach. Seeing the dog hiding, she sat down next to it and began talking to it in a calm, gentle voice. So they sat and talked – and when the woman felt the dog relax, she was able to quickly put a leash on it. Finally, the dog was safe, and it was taken to the shelter.

The dog was named Fergie and was examined by a veterinarian. Its front paw was badly injured and required surgery, which was planned for soon. In addition, Fergie was found to have some problems caused by life on the streets. But the caring shelter team has already begun to treat and care for it.

We don’t know who hurt Fergie and how it ended up on the street. But now it is in good hands. Fergie is slowly recovering, learning to trust people and live the new life. When it is fully recovered and cured, permanent owners will be found for it.
