The dog was lying on a bench with a sad note beside it

During a walk, a family noticed a sad dog that was leashed to a bench. The dog was looking around with sad and frightened eyes, and next to it was a note, the contents of which had broken the passers-by’s hearts…

A family from Spain noticed this sad dog lying on a bench. The animal, chained to the bench with a leash, was looking around with sad eyes. Passers-by immediately contacted the rescuers.

Marcella Goldberg, a local animal rescuer, responded to the people’s request. She was not surprised by this doggie because there have been many such cases since the pandemic began.

Next to the dog there was a note with a stone on it. When people read it, they felt even more sorry for the little one. It turned out that it had been left here because of the cruelty of its owners. This is what was in the note:

My name is Max. Please give me a home.
PLEASE, if you meet this dog, take care of it. It pains me to leave it here, but I made this decision because my family treated it horribly. It pains me to see it like this. If you are reading this and it has touched your heart, take care of it. If not, please leave a note in its place. Thank you!

The passers-by and the rescuer could not contain their emotions when they read this. Max was immediately helped. Although the dog growled with fear, Marcella managed to unbuckle it safely and put it in the car.

Once in the car, the dog immediately calmed down

Once in the car, the dog immediately calmed down and realised that they wanted to help it. The dog was still a little afraid, but no longer growled. And when Marcella brought the dog to her house, Max was very grateful to her for everything.

It turns out Max is about seven months old. The dog is an amazing animal – despite what it has been through, it is a kind and very affectionate boy. Everyone just fell in love with it at first sight.

They are now looking for a permanent family that will never hurt or betray Max. We wish Max finds the best owners as soon as possible!
