The dog sat on the tracks and hoped that its owners would soon come back for it

People spotted the black dog right on the railway tracks. Eyewitnesses said that it had been thrown out of the car, apparently to get rid of it. But the faithful dog kept waiting for its owners.

This black Labrador mongrel was spotted on the railway tracks. According to eyewitnesses, the dog had been brought to the area by car and simply left to fend for itself – apparently determined to get rid of it that way. But the dog was confident that its owners would soon come back for it.

The dog was standing on the tracks waiting for its owners right next to where it had been left. It was even very hungry, but it did not dare to get up and find food because it was waiting for its owners to return… But they never returned. Passers-by who saw the dog contacted rescuers to help it.

When a volunteer called Suzette arrived, the dog wouldn’t budge. She only managed to distract it with food, as it was very hungry. This is how she managed to catch the dog and put it in a safe place. She named the dog Soldier and immediately took it to the vet.

The dog’s health turned out to be fine. They are now looking for a dog shelter for Soldier, and it is being given scheduled food and baths to make it feel better. When Soldier has recovered a little from its experience, it will be given the best possible owner.
