Mother cat started feeding other cat’s kittens who became orphans

A real mother’s heart loves all children, and there are no strangers to it. This cat, who lost her kittens, did not restrain her instincts when she saw abandoned newborn fuzzies. She began to take care of other cat’s kittens as if they were her own.

This stray cat was brought to a veterinary clinic in Brisbane, Australia, when she was in the process of giving birth. Unfortunately, her kittens could not be saved, as they were born early, and the mother cat was in despair…

The next day, people found several newborn kittens in the park who were left without a mother and needed maternal love. The staff decided to place the kittens with the mother cat and see if she would accept them.

After seeing the kittens, the cat could not restrain her instincts. She immediately began to feed them with her milk, lick them and take care of them in every possible way. She didn’t care that they were strangers – the cat felt that the babies needed care, and a real mother’s heart accepts all children.

Later, the cat family was given for temporary care to the volunteers of the Best Friends Felines shelter. Mom-cat was given the nickname Venus – she turned out to be very sweet, gentle, and kind to everyone. She took very sensitive care of the kittens and did not take her eyes off them.

Venus was happy with motherhood. When the kittens began to gain weight and grow up, she also had time for herself. In between taking care of the babies, she came to the guardian and asked for affection, lying on her lap and purring.

Soon the kittens began to learn to walk, eat from a bowl, and play – at all stages, Venus was next to them and taught them everything. The mother cat herself also began to play more and interact with people.
