In severe frosts, the owners left the dog outside under the door while they were sitting in the warmth

Winter is a particularly difficult time of year for street animals. After all, nature simply did not adapt them to the fact that they should meet frosts on the street.

The call to the animal rescue service rang out in the morning. On this day, there were severe frosts on the street, and the woman who called was worried about the dog, which was freezing in front of her eyes. The woman said that she saw the dog in the neighboring yard. But she can’t get there because the neighbors won’t open the gates for her.

The volunteers who arrived at the place saw a dog lying in front of the door of the house and was already barely breathing, saying goodbye to life. The yard was surrounded by a high fence. Therefore, the woman who called could not get to help.

The owners left the little dog to die under the door, not letting it get warm. The outside of the door was scratched all over. This was clear evidence that the animal had been trying to get inside for a long time, desperately fighting for its life. But the owners of the dog remained indifferent to her requests for help.

The volunteers were able to overcome the high fence and immediately began to warm up the animal. The dog even breathed with difficulty, her pulse was weak, and her paws were frostbitten. The most shocking news was waiting for the volunteers further. The owners of the dog were in a warm house. They just wouldn’t let the animal in there.

Along with the people in the house there was a second dog. Unlike the one that lived on the street, this dog was healthy and well-groomed. The owners did not want to explain their harsh attitude to the animal. They just said they weren’t interested in what would happen to the dog next. Therefore, if the volunteers want, they can take the animal with them.

The volunteers named the dog Blizzard, which translates as “snow storm”. Hypothermia greatly affected the health of the dog. He had a complicated pneumonia. But through the efforts of veterinarians and with the help of the care of volunteers, Blizzard completely recovered. The dog has already managed to make friends. Therefore, she is very happy. And she will be even happier when a new family is found for her.
