An American Texan named Christine spotted this dog at the pier. Lonely, skinny and hungry, the poor thing was pacing back and forth, trying to find food. Seeing it, the woman couldn’t pass by – she felt the dog needed help. When Christine approached the dog, it was incredibly friendly…
The dog immediately started wagging its tail and greeting the woman as if it had known her for a long time. Later Christine brought water and food for the animal and also noticed that the dog appeared to be a nursing mother. The woman immediately realised that the puppies must be somewhere nearby, and waited for the doggie to go to them…
A little later the dog led Christine to its puppies. It had eight little ones that it was hiding behind a building nearby. It was cold outside and Christine couldn’t leave the family outside, so she decided to take care of them. First she moved the family to her home with the help of volunteers, and then she found a foster home and a guardian for them.
At the time of the rescue, the puppies were about 3-4 weeks old. They were healthy and active, but their skinny mother gave all its energy to the babies and it had no time for itself. At the place of temporary care, the mother dog, who was named Marla, blossomed. Under the care of caring people, the grateful doggy recovered and became much more active. Marla did not forget to take care of its babies.
A few weeks passed and volunteers found homes for all the puppies. Later the volunteers also found owners for Marla. Thanks to a kind woman for saving this dog family!
