Abandoned rabbit couldn’t eat because of grown teeth

Tusks – an unhappy rabbit who was not needed by its owners

They didn’t even take it to an animal shelter, they just abandoned it. When the staff at RSPCA Middlesex North West saw the animal, they were shocked. The rabbit’s teeth had grown so long that they were preventing it from eating, and its fur was matted, causing it a great deal of pain and discomfort.

It was impossible to tell at once whether it was a boy or a girl, as the rabbit was swollen all over due to numerous infections.

Now the little one is doing well, his teeth have returned to normal size, and he can eat and gain strength. The animal no longer experiences any discomfort and has quickly returned to a happy life. Rabbit owners are obligated to check their pets’ teeth and provide enough hard food for them to naturally wear down their teeth.

Now the little one is looking for a new family!
