A weak cat with sore eyes could barely stand on its feet and could not see anything at all, but because of the intense heat it crept into someone else’s yard to get a drink of water and cool down. It found a large container of water outside and decided to refresh itself in it.
This stray cat was seen in a courtyard in Kuwait. It entered the courtyard and approached a bowl of water that was outside. It was hot and apparently the kitty wanted to cool down. The residents immediately noticed that it had trouble with its eyes and did not look well. They immediately contacted the rescue centre to have specialists help the cat.
Volunteers from the Kuwait Animal Aid rescue centre came to the yard. When they saw the cat’s condition, they immediately took her for medical examination. The kitten, despite how weak and hungry it was, was very kind to people – it trusted them, as if it knew that they would help it.
The kitty was named Bubble and its recovery began. Bubble was so grateful to have a roof over its head and caring people by its side when it was taken to a home for adoption. In addition to an eye infection, they treated the cat’s stomach problems – but Bubble tolerated all the treatments very well.
At first, Bubble couldn’t even eat normally on its own – it was fed from a syringe. Only after a short recovery did it start to eat on its own, which was already a significant achievement. It then gradually grew stronger, and with that, it was asking for more affection and attention. It turned out to be a very sweet and charming lady.
According to shelter staff, there are many homeless cats in Kuwait – and rescue organisations are trying to help as much as they can. Bubble is now in temporary care, but in a little while the kitty, along with other rescued cats, will be sent to a partner shelter in the US where they will find owners for it.
