This spring, employees at a store in an American North Carolina store called animal control to complain about a stray dog that lived at the local department shelter.
They claimed that he constantly enters the store and tries to steal a purple unicorn and each time the attempts end in failure.
An animal control worker arrived to take the dog to the shelter, but she bought him this toy first. She admitted that this call was the most unusual one of all for her practice.
A post about the incident appeared on the shelter’s Facebook page and instantly went viral. It showed that the dog is simply delighted with the gift and does not part with his favorite toy for a second.
The dog’s name is Sisu. He is already a year old and, according to the words of the shelter staff, he is calm and obedient, but behaves impudently with other dogs. The post about Sisu got more than 10 thousand likes and a huge number of reposts.
Then, by popular demand, he was given a photo-shoot with the very same unicorn, and the very next day there was no end to those who wanted to adopt him. As a result, they chose a woman who lived alone, and so the dog found a caring owner and a home.
