Dogs are man’s best friends, and every dog owner will confirm this. Although most dogs show affection for people by wagging their tails and licking a lot, Louboutin (or Luby for short) is a charming golden retriever who shows his love with hugs.
When Luby walks with his owner Cesar Fernandez-Chavez, it’s never a typical walk. The incredibly friendly dog always stops to greet strangers and when they stop to pet her, Luby loves to hug them, wrapping his front paws around their knees.
According to Fernandez-Chavez, Luby likes to cuddle with people, including complete strangers. For this reason, Luby’s daily walks around New York are very spectacular.
« This is not an ordinary walk, » Fernandez-Chavez told the Dodo. « It’s a hug walk. »
Before Luby wanted to hug people, she wanted to hold hands. This special tradition began a long time ago, on Valentine’s Day in 2014, right after Fernandez-Chavez broke off a long-standing relationship.
” She sat down and grabbed my hands with two paws. I remember joking with my friends: « At least I have someone to hold hands with on Valentine’s Day.”
