Dogs George and Blackie were inseparable for 12 years. But Blackie died. It had been two years, but the dog was devastated by its loss, walking sadly and almost dying of boredom. But it was an unusual event that made all the difference.
One day a duck appeared in the yard of the house. It came up to George. “We have no idea where it came from. But ever since it came, George has stopped being sad,” said the dog’s owner.
The duck was named Donald. Now they are always together.

George even gave Donald its place to sleep and lay down next to it.
